Meet Leanne, the founder of Bento Picnic.
Trained chef and entrepreneurial spirit, Leanne immersed herself in a Japanese culinary homestay for a half year -- out of deep curiosity to discover healthy & holistic ways of cooking.
One of her favorite things about living in Japan was how easy it was to eat healthy. The bento kiosks in every city center and train station make delicious & healthy meals super convenient. Back home, she started to make bento lunches for her family and friends — who were always busy & on-the-go.
That is how Bento Picnic was born, and it's why we carry on today -- out of an earnest desire to make delicious, nourishing meals to carry you through your day.
We proudly source non-GMO + organic ingredients from local, responsible farmers + purveyors.
We love helping people keep commitments to their health with our array of dietary options including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian + dairy-free.
All meals come packed in recyclable or compostable containers. And we maintain zero food waste in our operation.
